Coding Your First Minecraft Mod

Virtual Camp Description

Many people consider making a Minecraft mod to be the beginning of a modders career. In this camp, students will be shown the concepts behind what makes a Minecraft mod work and be able to see it in action in their Minecraft servers!

By the end of this camp, students will have learned how to make a multitude of standard Minecraft mods as well as be giving the opportunity to develop their own!

Note: This camp will be using the Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft only. If you do not have a Windows 10 Edition Minecraft account, one can be provided. The programs used in this camp are not compatible with Chromebooks or MacOS.

Camp includes:
  • Guided learning from our experienced instructors

  • Working in a group environment

  • Learning Computer Science basics

  • Temporary Minecraft account, if needed
