OUR EXPERIENCE
A Specialized Tech Camp focused on developing with 3D Modeling
3D Modeling: Learn the basics of 3D modeling, discover how 3D printing works, work hands-on with a 3D printer, and bring their own model to life!
Tinkercad: Using the 3D modeling program on Tinkercad, students will be able to create and design their own detailed Cityscape, fostering creativity and helping them learn the basics of 3D design in a fun, accessible way!
WHAT IS 3D MODELING?
3D modeling is the process of creating a three-dimensional representation of an object using specialized software. It’s like crafting or sculpting, but on a computer!
In this 3D Modeling Tech Camp, your child will learn to build their own miniature city complete with buildings, cars, and trees.
Imagine being able to create something incredible from nothing but your imagination. That’s the magic of 3D modeling!

Our Tech Camp Schedule
9:00 – 9:15 AM
Students will be checked in as they arrive and introduced to each other.
9:15 – 10:45 AM
Students will be introduced to the 3D software and begin modeling! Students will be guided by the instructor to create a Cityscape.
10:45 – 11:00 AM
This will be a short snack break for the students. Snacks are provided.
11:00 – 12:30 PM
Students will continue building their 3D Cityscapes with the instructor and begin printing with instructors’ guidance.
12:30 – 1:00 PM
Students will take a break from building to have lunch. Please remember to bring a lunch as it is not provided!
1:00 – 2:00 PM
Students will complete their 3D models, show off to their fellow students and have free time to customize their Cityscape.
2:00 – 2:30 PM
Students will take a break from building their models to participate in a group unplugged activity.
2:30 – 3:00 PM
Students will be picked up and will be able to showcase their epic 3D creations!

Critical Thinking
Building and designing 3D models often involve trial-and-error. When something doesn’t work as expected, students must analyze what went wrong and devise solutions. This iterative process enhances their critical thinking skills.
Team Work
3D modeling frequently involves teamwork, with students working together to design, build, and print their models. They learn to communicate, share ideas, and delegate tasks to achieve a common goal.
Creativity and Innovation
Students will enhance their creativity by designing unique 3D models, encouraging them to think outside the box, experiment with their creations and explore many different ideas visually.
Future Readiness
3D Modeling helps expose children to technology from an early age. They learn to work with software components and different design programs, developing digital literacy and a comfort level with technology that is essential in nearly all career fields.
