Is your child curious, creative, and eager to learn about technology? With Code Central’s Nevada Department of Education and STEM.org-accredited curriculum, students turn their passions into skills that will set them up for success in a fun and inviting environment. Campers choose their own project from the options below each week, ANY project is available ANY week!

Students will gain hands-on experience coding their very own custom Minecraft items and worlds.

With this option, your child will learn how to create modifications in Minecraft using MCreator that will:

  • Change the weather

  • Spawn a pet

  • Rain cats and dogs

  • Customize their tool set

  • Create an obstacle race

  • Spawn cars

  • Build a horse

  • Walk on water

Students will use Roblox Studio to learn the basics of game design and coding. Students will be able to create Obbys, Survival Games and more!

With this option, your child will learn how to use Roblox Studio and the Lua programming language to create one of the following games in Roblox:

Our Tech Camps

Code Central’s Top-Rated Tech Camps are ideal for students (ages 7-15) of all skill levels aiming to further their STEM knowledge by exploring cutting-edge technologies! Students will develop techniques in game & app development, mechanical engineering, and graphic design. Campers will develop their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fun and supportive environment. Campers choose their own project topic to work on, ANY project is available ANY week!

Throughout the day, campers will learn and work alongside each other, taking breaks to stretch their muscles and get them moving. Students work cooperatively on various unplugged projects focused on encouraging social and communication skills.

Our Tech Camp Schedule

9:00 – 9:15 AM

Students will be checked in as they arrive and introduced to each other.

9:15 – 10:45 AM

Students will be introduced to our curriculum options and choose their desired project to work on.

10:45 – 10:55 AM

This will be a short snack break for the students. Snacks are provided.

10:55 – 11:55 AM

Students will participate in an engaging physical activity to take a break from their screens.

11:55 AM – 12:25 PM

Students will take a break from activities to have lunch. Please remember to bring a lunch as it is not provided.

12:25 – 1:25 PM

Students will continue working on their chosen project, demonstrate its functionality and have free time to experiment with their creation.

1:25 – 1:35 PM

Students will take a short break from creating their projects.

1:35 – 2:15 PM

Students will continue working on their chosen project.

2:15 – 3:00 PM

Students will take a break from building their projects to participate in a group unplugged activity and get ready for pickup.

Yes! If you sign up for more than one week of camp, we offer a $50 discount off each camp.

Not at all! No prior coding experience is needed to join. We specialize in working with students of all experience levels.

No. Students are welcome to bring their own laptop if they would like, but Code Central provides all of the education materials necessary to create their projects.

No, our camps offer a variety of different online and offline activities throughout the day.

Camps are split into two age groups: Ages 7-9 and Ages 10+

Yes! Code Central is proud to be accredited by the Nevada Board of Education and STEM.org

Our tech camps are geared toward teaching new and experienced coders a particular topic or program over the course of a week from 9am – 3pm. Our regular sessions occur over the course of an hour each week and offer different curriculum options. The projects available in camps are not included in our regular session curriculum.

Students are able to choose from any of our project topics each week. The options available does not change from week to week. ANY project is available to work on ANY week!
