At Code Central, our philosophy stems from two core elements: Create an environment that provides hands-on learning, and offer curriculum that engages student interest, curiosity, and imagination. We apply this philosophy to all aspects of our center, from our self-paced curriculum to our expert instructors.

Our Code Central curriculum is proud to be accredited by STEM.org and the Nevada Department of Education.

Our Curriculum

Code Central provides a dynamic, fun, and educational experience for students to learn to code. Students will learn many different technologies as they are introduced to various facets of Computer Science through our project-based curriculum.

Game Development

Students learn to code and create their own video games. Younger students will begin with learning to code with Scratch, while older and more experienced students learn to code using Godot Game Engine.

Electrical Engineering

Students learn to build and code their own electronics. Younger students will begin with learning to code with Pictoblox, while older and more experienced students learn to code using Arduino (C++).

Web Development

Students learn to code and design their own websites using HTML and CSS. Beginner projects begin with creating simple single page websites and build up to larger projects like creating a portfolio and web apps.

Python Engineering

Students learn fundamental programming concepts like variables, conditional statements, functions, loops and more using Python. Python is a beginner-friendly computer programming language that is widely used in the technology industry.

3D Modeling & Printing

Students will explore the fundamentals of digital sculpting and character design using beginner-friendly 3D modeling software. They will learn how to shape, refine, and prepare their own unique creations for 3D printing.

LEGO Technic Engineering

Students learn to build and engineer simple machines using LEGO Technics. Students will develop their problem-solving skills and creativity as they explore mechanical engineering through hands-on projects.

How It Works

Our in-person sessions are a great fit for independent learners starting at age 7. We offer group sessions with up to 10 students working with 3 instructors, as well as private 1 on 1 sessions with an instructor. Schedule your free introductory session today!

Schedule your free intro session

Come and check out what Code Central is all about! Students will work 1-on-1 with an instructor for 30 minutes on a coding project of their choosing. During this session we also evaluate the student’s coding knowledge, learning style and ability to use a computer.

Enroll and join your first session

After your introductory session, it is time to enroll and join our Code Central community! Choose between our Group or Private membership, choose a session time most convenient for you, and get ready to set off on your coding adventure!

Let the coding adventures begin!

On their first session, students will go through a simple onboarding process with our Lead Instructor to get them started on their first official coding project. From there, students will continue their sessions to level up their learning and coding skills!

Gavin’s Earth Themed Website

Gavin (Age 14) has been at Code Central for nearly two years now, learning a variety of STEM subjects from electrical engineering to web development. He recently created a website about earth at Code Central while competing in our Spring Coding Competition! We loved how Gavin coded an interactive site that kept the user experience fresh and fun, way to go!

Brandyi’s Candy Themed Video Game

Brandyi (Age 11) created an impressive video game using the program Scratch after only being a student at Code Central for 3 months! Her video game was interactive, challenging and very fun for users to experience. We loved seeing the creative process as Brandyi went from developing the concept to coding it all on her own. Great work!
